Tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Nanomaterials and Devices for Electronics and Photonics, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Nanomaterials and Devices for Electronics and Photonics, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. A founding partner of the University of Waterloo Nanotechnology Engineering undergraduate and graduate programs, the ECE department currently has more than 95 faculty members and is one of the largest engineering departments in Canada. The appointment as ADR&GS is typically for a five-year term renewable for a second term of up to five years. CEPS comprises five primary academic units - Departments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics & Statistics, and Schools of Computer Science and Engineering.
