As a Cloud Engineer in Cost Management and Finance, your day could involve: Managing complex projects, drive business requirement gathering, manage scope and client expectations Serving as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining modular cloud-based systems while considering the various integration points. Ensure all cloud best practices are adhered to. Minimum five (5) years' experience with cloud development using Azure or AWS IaaS and PaaS services. Minimum five (5) years' hands-on experience in applying and implementing design patterns for product development Understanding of FinOps concepts (Preferred certification: FinOps Certified Practitioner/Professional Understanding and experience with Cloud Service Provider consoles (one or multiple of the following: AWS, AZURE, GCP) Ability to work with multiple product teams and business units to understand cloud spend, forecasting, and budgeting.
