The Opportunity: The Shift Engineer has the direct accountability for ensuring the maintenance of facility boilers, refrigeration systems and HVAC units. They will oversee the maintenance and operations of plants utilities under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and will provide 8 hour/day shift Engineer coverage for our food processing facility. Working in a unionized environment, you will be responsible for operating freon refrigeration equipment, boilers, water tests, WWTP, and related auxiliaries while monitoring all water distribution, performing rounds and operating checks on equipment, responding to operations’ requests for services, and following up on alarm and taking action to rectify deficiencies.
