WSP's Building/Transportation M&E Team is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our Electrical team, located in our Thornhill office. Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, the Electrical Engineer will play an integral role in the delivery and execution of complex, challenging and innovative projects.From a technical perspective, the Electrical Designer will be a technical resource, supporting senior engineers and project managers in the production of engineering drawings and design. In addition, the Electrical Designer will be involved in client and stakeholder meetings, representing and championing the WSP brand and mission objectives under direct supervision of senior engineers or discipline lead.This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering graduate looking to work with autonomy on some of Canada's most future-forward engineering projects. The successful candidate will be familiar with a variety of transportation, municipal, institutional, healthcare and commercial building projects. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and registered as an EIT with PEO. 1 to 3 years of experience with designing electrical systems for buildings is an asset. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual Lighting and AGI 32.
