You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to develop the Nurse-Client relationship and work within a dynamic collaborative and diverse inter-professional team. Effective leadership, decision-making, organizational and problem solving skills are required. You have demonstrated ability to intervene effectively in clinical situations requiring the prevention and management of disturbed behaviour. Experience in Addiction Medicine nursing is required .Previous experience in case management and clinical assessment is required. The ability to work with clients of diverse cultural and social backgrounds within an Addiction Medicine framework is necessary. Computer literacy is required. Bilingualism (French/English)and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset. Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
