Automotive Project Manager

In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. The Role: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the software conversion of new PBS customers, helping them transition from their current DMS provider to PBS. This position is based out of our Calgary office. 50% of your time will be spent in the office and 50% of your time will be spent traveling to customer sites throughout North America as part of the pre-installation and installation team. This is not a remote work opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Lead and manage software conversion projects, including planning, organizing, and implementing project activities Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timeline, and resources Training Management: Coordinate and oversee training programs for customers on the use of PBS's software Ensure that training materials are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with the project objectives Provide ongoing support and assistance to address any training-related issues Data Conversion: Develop and implement data conversion plans to transfer data from the customer's existing software to PBS's software Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the conversion process Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues Integration Management: Establish and maintain integration with other third-party companies, such as CRM systems, DMS providers, and other software vendors Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of PBS's software with other systems Other Duties: Maintain regular communication with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues Prepare and present project progress reports, metrics, and other documentation Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines and resources simultaneously Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved Ability to be adaptable and adjust plans and strategies to keep projects on track Ability to work collaboratively with the project team to achieve goals Ability to lead the project team to success by providing clear direction, motivation and support Identify and solve problems that may arise during a project Learn and develop an understanding of the PBS software Achieve and maintain one silo certification This role requires 50% travel to customer sites located in different regions, travel may be domestic or international depending on project requirements Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: 1-2 years' experience in the automotive industry or dealership operations is required 1-2 years' experience in project management, preferably in software implementation or conversion projects is considered an asset College diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset Strong problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Ability to travel within Canada and the USA a minimum of 2 weeks per month; in consequence proof of valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable), and valid full class driver's license are required Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed Ability to work non-standard hours, as needed What we offer: Internal promotion and growth opportunities An education department dedicated to helping you with professional and personal development The opportunity to travel Free parking Staff events Competitive annual base salary Bonus for product certification up to $4,800 per year Great referral bonus Staff discounts with GM, Dell, Goodlife and more. Live-in Resident Manager

Responsibilities : Must live on-site Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site. Duties include scheduled office hours and on-call duties (excluding scheduled days off) Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to respond to all on-call needs outside of regular business hours On-call requirements include but are not limited to: answering calls, showing suites, responding to emergencies, attending to after-hours complaints such as noise complaints, cleaning duties, maintaining building quality standards, etc. Collect rent and follow up on defaults Ensure vacancy (minimized) and budget (meet or exceed on net operating income) are all realized for each site by effective resident service to potential and existing customers Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites Lease and show suites Ensure all rental enquires are answered within the guidelines provided Annual suite inspections Prepare and deliver bank deposits Administrative duties including processing paperwork for site and other Associates Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work as preconditions of the contract Ensure proper and accurate inventory management Assist with snow removal, touch-up painting, and c leaning as required Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet Complete other tasks assigned by the Leader Experience and Educational Requirements: 2 years Customer Service Experience required Post-Secondary Education in related field Technical Requirements: Computer experience is required with web-based programs preferred Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset Non-Technical Requirements: Excellent time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters Ability to remain calm and in control of a situation while still maintaining patience, empathy and understanding Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environment Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to success (striving toward Boardwalk's mission statement) Demonstrates a growth mindset, a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting Ability to maneuver or lift up to 10kg with the proper equipment Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's Licence and Own Vehicle
