Accountable for maintaining mine plan and schedule to ensure production goals are achieved or exceeded in a cost-effective manner. Oversee planning activities to ensure layouts are safe, effective and on time. Assist mine planning teams with economic analyses for designated ore zones to optimize margins. Complete stope reconciliations to verify quality and identify opportunities for improvement. Create longhole drill designs as required for the mine plan to support the mine planning team. Strategic Planning Maintaining, reporting and monitoring of production statistics and performance to ensure the property’s goals and objectives are achieved. Training & Experience Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and in good standing order with PEO, or equivalent in other jurisdictions. Would be an asset but not required Be technically competent and have a good understanding of U/G longhole mining method Strong Deswik Skills - (CAD, IS and Scheduler) Able to mentor and motivate the planning team.
