About the Role The Treasury group is responsible for the management of global funding, capital raising, liquidity management and various aspects of risk management - including currencies, interest rates, market access, retirement programs and strategies that manage the protection and safeguarding of assets through insurance programs. The group is also responsible for providing guidance to senior management and the Board on macroeconomic conditions and their implications for Magna’s business. We are looking to hire a Senior Treasury Analyst who will support Liquidity Management North America & Global Funding. This role will provide support for the Global Funding Strategy, funding requirements process, cash management, short-term cash forecasting and Treasury reporting requirements. Your Responsibilities Global Funding Strategy & Funding Requirements: Consolidation, analysis and reconciliation of free cash flow by country; Strategy analysis and coordination with regional treasury; Consolidation, coordination and analysis of funding requirements process Daily Cash Management North America: Reconciliation of daily cash positions against actual results and manage the resolution of any discrepancies; Analysis of cash positions of all cash pools to determine funding needs and initiate cross funding; Management of cash through the co-ordination of information related to receipts, disbursements and bank position reporting; Strive to maintain minimal cash float balances; Ensure proper reporting & management of standalone cash balances; Foreign Exchange daily wire processing, spot trades and swaps Cash Forecasting: Support cash forecasting processes and perform variance analysis; Continuously improve forecasting compliance & accuracy Reporting: Produce monthly Global Cash Review; Perform monthly financial reporting and analysis related to global cash and bank indebtedness; Review daily cash reporting in Power BI for accuracy of reported balances, investments and borrowings; Review and understand reported changes in balances, investments and borrowings Other: Assist in Treasury related projects as assigned; Explore new technology and reporting tools for Treasury Who we are looking for Completion of a university degree in business or finance; Post graduate qualifications are desirable but not required Accounting designation is an asset Requires knowledge of advanced principles and the ability to conduct advanced analysis Experience and proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential Knowledge and experience with HFM & OneStream is an asset PowerBI and Treasury Management Systems is an asset Your preferred qualifications Minimum 2 -5 years of work experience in an analytics role Ability to work with other people - in person and virtual What we offer At Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies. One Formet.” About the Role PLC programming and troubleshooting to increase uptime, throughput, efficiency and quality. Maintaining, designing, developing and continuously improving our equipment and the utilization of technology to ensure the best quality frames are produced. Who we are looking for • Completion of an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technician course or equivalent from a community or recognized college program consisting of two years or more and/or • Certificate of Qualification in a Formet recognized trade Your Responsibilities • Perform all duties and promote themselves in a manner that reflects Formet Expectations and Formet’s Visions/Values through Magna’s Employee Charter. • Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and Formet rules and regulations. • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities. • Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Formet. • PLC troubleshooting and programming for large automation production lines, both on shop floor and remote interaction. • Navigating and creating Standard PLC structures, programming for Rockwell PLC’s. • PLC interfacing and programming control for integration of FANUC material handling, MIG welding, laser cutting robotic applications and Vision assisted handling. • Integrate safe machine control using safety PLC structure and architectural design. • Utilize AutoCAD to design, and provide support for reading, modifying, and understanding machine design content. • Network interfacing for on-machine and plant communication using Ethernet, IO link, Profibus and Profinet. • Programming data collection flow and archiving of historian data for analysis. • HMI programming for machine interface via Ignition and Rockwell software. • Data Matrix code reading for product traceability. • Machine vision inspection for part certification during processing. • Programming and troubleshooting motion control and VFD applications using Rockwell integrated control. • Mechanical, pneumatic support as it relates to a controls process. • Use conventional and servo hydraulic systems for piercing, riveting and forming processes. • Co-ordinate activities of apprentices, helpers and assigned contractors. • Assists in developing and/or updating preventive maintenance procedures. • Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with emphasis on personal responsibility. • Interact with the team members running the line to look for improvements or ideas to improve your/their job/task and improve line Safety, Quality and Productivity. • Preventative maintenance on Equipment - identify weakness in design and implement improvements. Take pride in workmanship and when performing skilled work develop procedures to educate and train other team members performing the same work. • Evaluate and improve our processes for uptime and repeatability. • Evaluate downtime situations for root cause and suggest/implement improvements in conjunction with Production Team Members. (Resolve the issue once root cause has been established / Joint decision production and maintenance) • Evaluate potential risks to similar processes and develop work orders and plans to resolve issue. • Perform other duties as designated.
