Understand the specific needs of customers and structure system development solutions to tailor for the needs Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to company standards. Contribute to the enhancement of existing products, optimizing architecture and evaluating system performance Implement new features and functionalities to improve the overall user experience. Perform regular code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the development process. Document code changes, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Deep understanding of concurrency and synchronization mechanisms Knowledge and experience in industry best practices and standards in the Software Development Life Cycle, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies Strong experience working with a relational database such as MySQL or Postgres and NoSQL database Competency in working in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Azure. Linux/Unix environment background including shell scripting Strong skills in code profiling and debugging Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Able to quickly learn and transfer knowledge on new technologies, as required. The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of information databases used to operate the infrastructure and technology platform. Proficient with relational and non-relational databases and in-depth knowledge of database coding for various platforms (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo DB). Experience in designing and implementing database structures and automating DBA tasks. Experience with data modeling and schema design. Strong analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills. Strong attention to detail with an ability to anticipate risks and mitigate it. Adept at managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities. Advanced communication skills: ability to facilitate discussions and communicate technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical staff.
