Unique opportunity to work as a Project Foreman for an award-winning Electrical Contractor that specializes in commercial and industrial projects. ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client has been working in the Vancouver market for over 25 years. They specialize in commercial and industrial new construction and tenant improvement projects. Many of their projects are based in downtown Vancouver, with others within the Lower Mainland. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This is a great opportunity for an experienced Foreman with a track record of completing projects within tight deadlines to gain experience as a Project Foreman and work off the tools. Their will opportunities to move into the project management side after this project or to continue in a similar role. The project is a 5-floor commercial tenant improvement project in Olympic Village with a tight 8-10 month deadline ABOUT THE POSITION In this position you will be overseeing 30-40 electricians and guide them on the scope of work. You will be expected to work on scheduling, ordering materials and liaising with the project manager on change orders and issues on site. This will be a very aggressive timeline and so the client needs someone who has experience running similar jobs with the capabilities of running multiple floors at one time. THE REQUIREMENTS Experience overseeing large crews of 30-40 electricians.
