JOB DESCRIPTION Duties: * Sets up and carries out electrical tests under the supervision of an engineer or technologist. * Performs laboratory measurements following established procedures and records the results. * Operates computers and test instruments as required for testing. Qualifications: * Certificate of Technology from an Institute of Technology in Electronics (Power/control option), Electrical, Power, Telecommunications, Instrumentation or Automation disciplines with preference given to the discipline directly relating to the position or lab. * Two (2) years of related experience working in a lab setting up and performing tests on a variety of electrical equipment, components and cables.
