Determine the appropriate psychological tests and methods to be used in gathering assessment information. 4. Administer scores and interpret psychological tests designed to assess the client’s cognitive, educational, and social/emotional functioning as well as personality traits and symptoms of psychopathology. 5. Provide feedback on psychological testing to client, family members, treatment team members, and other health care providers as required. 6. On-site programs provide a period of clinical evaluation, stabilization, intervention and follow-up in a structured setting as well as support for families/caregivers and the development of a plan of care. Program areas operate with a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and childcare counsellors. Community programs are similarly configured but delivered within the home community. The constellation of services offered include medical/psychiatric evaluation; multi-disciplinary assessment and plans of care; family therapy, education and support; educational opportunities through Burnaby School District; vocational, recreational and social interactive experiences; on-going outreach and respite services; on-going program evaluation.The Program Coordinator for Intake and Clinical Services provides an important provincial role, leading how referrals are managed and ensuring the smooth coordination of the Intake Committee. The Program Coordinator assigns Social Workers and Clinicians to Maples programs, groups, and individuals/families to facilitate admission processes and ensure continuity of care for young people. The Program Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for Social Workers and Clinicians ensuring quality clinical programming, assessments, and practices.
