What will you doThe Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components, machinery, and equipment using applied knowledge of engineering principles. What You Bring to the Table: Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology from NAIT (or another accredited post-secondary institution) OR Post-secondary education in design field, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Architectural program. Proficient in Autodesk Suite (Inventor, Fusion, AutoCAD). Knowledge and experience with piping systems, structural systems, and fabrication drafting. Minimum 5 years experience in Drafting/Engineering Design role. Knowledge and experience in Pipeline/Heavy Civil construction and methodology. Ability to interpret field data and rough sketches in a fast pace setting. Exceptional attention to detail, specifically pertaining to completeness and accuracy of drawings. Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, Excel). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Proven organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines and tasks within a high-pressure work environment. Ability to work in Shop/Field conditions. Self-motivated, ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities and work cooperatively in a team environment.
