Maintenance Supervisor- PERMANENT DAYS (8:30am to 5:00pm )- $85K to $95K + bonusLOCATION: Brampton, OntarioQualifications / Requirements:* Licensed Millwright + Electrician (dual trade licensed) strongly preferred ; will consider one license with strong mechanical and electrical skills* 5 years+ progressive relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment* Advanced experience and knowledge with production equipment, tight tolerances and mechanical pumping systems* Knowledge of plastic processing equipment an asset* Ability to plan and organize work* Capable of problem solving and addressing changing priorities* Attention to detail and able to meet deadlines in a high volume work environment* Good attendance record* Leadership skills and prior experience leading a maintenance team* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)* Ability to travel as required (limited local)Responsibilities:* Responsible for maintenance of plant equipment and building infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical maintenance and technical documentation* Participate in the JHSC* Supervise and train maintenance crew and selection of outside contractors* Work with Plant Manager to develop maintenance expense budget which includes the spare parts inventory and expenditure of capital for replacement equipment* Provide technical guidance and informal training to production employees when necessary* Ensure corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are met and company policies are implemented and legislative requirements are complied with* Plan and execute activities and projects that are aligned and prioritized with needs of company* Develop and implement procedures to maximize operational reliability* Develop and maintain a PM program to ensure uninterrupted service and safe, cost-effective operation of all equipment* Oversee maintenance of all plant equipment, mechanical and electrical, including motors, relays, wiring and temperature controls* Ensure repair of all production and processing lab equipment and update of technical drawings* Oversee hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance of all plant systems* Work with outside contractor to maintain all air compressors* Oversee all department activities including recruiting and employee development* Manage spare parts inventory
