Our goal is to use evidence based practice to work with families and school teams to support children in living healthy and active lives to the best of their abilities. The physiotherapists on our team provide services in clients’ homes and school environments and work collaboratively with other members of the clients’ health care teams. School aged physiotherapists provide a multitude of supports for children and youth which can include, but are not limited to, education of school support workers, equipment prescription and set up, modified PE or activity programs, post-surgical support, transition support - all with the aim of ensuring inclusion and improving daily quality of life and physical well being of the students we work with.
