Responsibilities: Administers and documents design of Infrastructure cloud resources to meet business requirements for reliability and business recovery. Integrates new solutions with existing cloud resources or on-premise infrastructure and evaluates impact to efficiently service changing business needs. Designs, develops, deploys, and maintains cloud-based solutions to meet business service requirements. Provides best practices, standards, training, and general support for the cloud environment. Administers, executes, and documents security controls for cloud resource, including system access and compliance needs, to ensure integrity and confidentiality of data and systems. Actively involved in the Cloud Management and Governance process. Support the migration to Cloud based IT solutions by applying expertise and knowledge to Cloud specialist and solution architects that deliver an optimal client experience while minimizing risks and maximizing benefits. Qualifications A relevant University degree/technical certification (and/or relevant experience). 5+ years experience in IT, with a focus on IT Infrastructure and Operations. 3+ years of Cloud Operations related experience; significant expertise on the Azure ecosystem of services and products. AWS experience is a plus. 2+ years of experience of platform architecture and support experience. Strong experience in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Packer, Azure automation) Strong understanding of networks, firewall systems, and routing protocols. Solid understanding of basic Internet and data exchange technologies (browser-based applications, HTTP, FTP, XML, Web Services). Advanced knowledge of scripting and PowerShell.
