Virtual class teachers plan, teach, and assess learners through interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom, including supplemental activities that learners complete at home. Virtual club instructors plan and lead learners in interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom. While instruction is conducted virtually, we do require our teachers to attend training and professional development on the lower mainland and Vancouver Island regions of British Columbia, Canada. EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:?Virtual class teachers must be certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools and must agree with RCOA’s statement of faith. EXPERIENCE:?Experience and education related to working with students in online learning and project-based learning is an asset but not required. AVAILABLE POSITION: Spanish 5-9 Class Teacher & 10-12 online course teacher (0.25 FTE). Remuneration ranges from $12,430 - $20,848 depending on teacher certification and years of experience.
